BRIDGE PROGRAM - WINTER

WHAT IS THE BRIDGE PROGRAM?


The Tonka United Bridge Program is for U7 and U8 players interested in transitioning from Recreational to Competitive and serves as the first impression families have of “Competitive Soccer.” The goal of the program is to provide families with a program that blends pieces of Recreational Soccer (seasonal commitment, in-house matches, single location) and Competitive Soccer (some traveling events, paid coaches, player ID).

BRIDGE PROGRAM FAQS

  • Player Fees

    Bridge Program - Winter Player Fees:

    • WINTER SEASON 1: $150
    • WINTER SEASON 2  $150

  • Uniforms

    Included in player fees the first season you enter the program: 

    • Royal Blue Dri-fit top
    • White Dri-fit top

    Complete uniform kit required: Royal Blue top, White top, royal blue Adidas shorts, and royal blue socks.


    If new to Tonka United, you will need to purchase royal blue Adidas shorts and royal blue socks - available at our office.


    If previously a TU Recreation player, you are able to use the royal blue Adidas shorts and royal blue socks from the Rec kit.

  • Winter Format

    All sessions are at the Minnetonka High School Tonka Dome.


    Winter 1: 5-week Ball Mastery Clinic, held once a week on Saturday mornings. Two times will be available for sign up: 8-9am or 9-10am. This clinic is perfect for players looking to improve their individual skills in a focused environment.


    Winter 2: 6-week Ball Mastery Clinic, held once a week on Saturday mornings. Training slots are aligned with our Rec League to allow players to register for both. Two times will be available for sign up per gender: 8-9am or 9-10am (boys), 10-11am, 11-12pm (girls).
