2010 MNSRA Referee Certification
Various Metro Locations
You do not need to attend the clinics that are held at MHS to referee for Tonka United. You can attend any of the clinics offered by the Minnesota SRA. Their site lists all the clinics offered in Minnesota: MNSRA website.
- Sign up early as clinics fill up fast.
- You MUST sign up with MNSRA to attend a clinic AND register with USSF.
Participants 18 and Older
All attendees 18 years of age and older must complete a background check before they are allowed into the clinic. Contact the MNSRA for details prior to attending the clinic.
Laws of the Game
Anyone attending a clinic can study the Laws of the Game in advance
Download a copy of the Laws of the Game HERE
This is strongly encouraged due to the following:
- Returning referees that do not pass the recertification test must wait at least 14 days to take the test at another clinic. Instructors will not award badges to anyone that did not receive a passing score.
- Anyone taking the Grade 8 Entry level course that does not receive a passing grade will be offered two options. They can wait at least 14 days and retake the test at any clinic location or they can register as a Grade 9 referee provided they attained a minimum passing score for that grade.
- Anyone choosing to register as a Grade 9 referee will be able to upgrade the next year by either taking the Grade 8 Entry level course or by taking the one day Bridge course.
