I regret to inform you that John Tudor (JT) has given notice that he intends to step down from his position as the Director of Coaching and Player Development (DOC) for Tonka United. After nearly fifteen years in this role, JT has decided that he would like to spend more time with his family. Even though he is stepping down as our DOC, I am very happy that JT has said that he will remain with the club in some reduced role that will enable him to focus on his areas of strength. In addition, JT will remain our DOC until a replacement has been found.

This is a big change for the club and for soccer in Minnetonka. Thanks in large part to JT's leadership, Tonka United has become one of the most respected community soccer clubs in Minnesota. As such, it will not be an easy task to find his replacement. The Board of Directors for Tonka United has begun the search for JT's replacement. As this is such an important decision, we plan to take as much time as necessary to find the right person. In the meantime, JT and his staff will continue to work hard and try their best to provide a quality soccer experience for the members of Tonka United.
